Footwear, bookings, refunds
Indoor footwear policy: badminton courts
Only badminton shoes are permitted on badminton courts. We accept shoes from Yonex, Victor, Black Knight, Mizuno, Forze, Babolat, and Chaopai. Other brands may be permitted at the discretion of front desk staff. If you don’t have appropriate footwear, you can rent badminton shoes for $15 or buy a pair from the pro shop.
Tennis court footwear policy
Closed-toe, athletic shoes must be worn during play on the tennis courts. Sandals, crocs, and slippers are not allowed. RBTC is not liable for any injuries sustained during play.
Shoe rental policy
If you don’t have the proper footwear, you can rent a pair of badminton shoes from our available selection for $15. Sizes and quantities are limited and subject to availability. Rental shoes must be returned at the end of the session. Players are responsible for lost or damaged shoes and may be charged a replacement fee.
Non-member court booking policy
Non-members may book a court up to 24 hours in advance, to a maximum of 2 hours, with a minimum of 2 players. Full payment for all players must be made at the time of booking, in person or over the phone. Same-day drop-in is available pending court availability. No refunds. Any player showing up without proper footwear will not be allowed on the court, and no refund will be given.
